At a certain age, I think we just assume we know what size shoe we wear if we haven’t lost or gained a significant amount of weight. Overtime it seems like no matter what size shoe I wore it was wrong. So I bought one of these after losing significant weight during the pandemic. I measured my foot and bought a pair of shoes that were too large. I realize now how to work this machine so pay attention.
Per the reading shown I presumed I wear 8 1/2 but when I bought a pair of Sketcher go walk sneakers they were too big. So instead of following the ARROW mark I use the Mark above it. I would buy boots in 8 1/2, though, too have room for thick winter socks. Hope that makes sense.
So my regular shoes and sandals are size 8 but boots I go half size up. Also my right foot is slightly smaller (broke it when I was a kid) so I use my left foot for measurements.
Anyone with growing kids should have this in their home. Show comfort matters so much.
