This particular Burger King needs a visit from corporate. Last January, I walked in and ordered spicy nuggets and fries. I don’t frequent Burger King, so I’ve never had their spicy nuggets. But they were on the menu so I ordered them.
I got all the way back home just to find the nuggets I got weren’t spicy at all. So I called them after checking my receipt to make sure I ordered spicy nuggets.
The king (aka Burger King manager) answered the phone and I recognized his voice because he had helped me personally. I described myself and told him I was a walk-in, and asked what happened with the spicy nuggets.
He proceeded to tell me that that deal was over and that they no longer had them. Why wasn’t I told that when placing my order? Why were they on the sign I ordered from? It’s just two words – we’re out. I would’ve ordered something else.
