I had the concave/contoured sleep mask previously and thought it was just fine. I mean, it made sense. Why would I want something flat over my eyes while I sleep?
Then I washed it and the silky lining separated. I bought this one to replace it and OMG! I guess I just haven’t been bougie enough to go silk but what a difference!
It’s super light and so smooth. It stays put all night and it’s large enough to block light from sneaking in. You can see from the p photo that it’s barely creased after a night’s rest. That’s silk.
The adjustable sliding band is also perfectly sewn in. This was not made in haste. Instead of hand washing it, I just put it in a lingerie bag and wash with my facial masks and other delicates and it comes out nicely. I let it hang to dry which doesn’t take long.
Sometimes over-design is unnecessary. This is a simple, comfortable and well made sleep mask and it cost me less than $10 on Amazon!
